BSP Holds Sway in 2017 General Election

Uttar Pradesh the route to the central politics has always been tough and decisive. Election in Uttar Pradesh is round the corner and 2017 will be a decisive year in UP politics for next 5 years. In this hot election season the talk of the town is who will be crowned as the next Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Contradictions are part and parcel of Uttar Pradesh: floods in poorvanchal, drought in bundelkhand & riots in muzaffarnagar, they all had already framed the line map of Uttar Pradesh political scenario for 2017 elections. So as the drumbeats of assembly polls draw near, around 21 crore voters are witnessing and participating in all paradoxes.
There are still few months to go for the polls, and that’s a long time in electoral politics. One thing is certain is that by looking at the performance of BSP in the past election would be foolish, because in politics nothing is permanent not even someone’s defeat. And going by the result of recent opinion polls, Bsp holds sway while over parties loses their stronghold for 2017 general election in Uttar Pradesh. BSP under the leadership of Maywati has been far ahead than others with an absolute majority claim on 185 seats out of total 403 seats of Uttar Pradesh, while the BJP & SP will have to be satisfied with 120 & 80 seats respectively.
