Mehnaun: Burdened Under Poor Education System

The progress & development of a region is strongly based on the prevailing education system. But as for now the situation are drastically poor because all the claims & progression charts are fabricated behind the closed walls of government offices, which has no relevance to the reality. Mehnaun, a small constituency of Gonda district with a total population of around 1 lack have an average literacy rate of mere 58.71%. The region still lags behind in absence of proper educational institute at both primary & secondary level. Children who are willing to study needs to travel several kilometers, whereas hundreds of students are deprived &  drop out of their studies especially the girls who are restrained to travel far from their homes, this all happens because of government’s ignorance & poor attitude towards providing better educational facilities to children which is their fundamental right. Among all the failures of providing quality education to the children of Mehnaun, Gonda one important factor is the absence of qualified teachers.
Whereas one section of the country is benefiting with the prevailing digitation, there is another face of the society alike Mehnaun where people are still unaware of the basic concept of smart education & digitization. In a place where people are still struggling for basics like shelter, water & electricity. In such conditions the impractical policies of Laptop & Smartphone distribution can’t change the lives of people. But accepting a universal fact that nothing is for permanent we can conclude that this situation will also change with the upraising of a new friendly & cooperative government under the able guidance of Behen Mayawati Ji. BSP so far has been known as a people party, dedicated to work for the betterment & welfare of the underprivileged segments of the society.
